The word himmeli refers to heaven in several, mainly Scandinavian languages. The building of these symmetrical geometric ornaments originated in Finland where farmers decorated their homes with himmeli made of rye straw especially during the Christmas season.

Nowadays the elegant harmonious patterns speak a universal language that every (plant)soul understands.

Material: brass/glass/leather
Features: white round leather cord, 2 clear Swarovski beads, 1 golden stardust bead, golden jewellery chain. This himmeli is also a suncatcher.

Measurements: 70cm cord, himmeli itself approximately 12 x 6,5 cm

Although the material may oxidize and darken with time, it is very easy to polish back to its original state. Just apply a small amount of toothpaste with a clean cloth to your himmeli. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water. Dry with a towel and hang it back up.
